Nicki Michaels

Nicki Michaels began her astrological career in 1974 when she was chosen from 250 applicants, as Senior Staff Astrologer for the very first national astrological consulting service, working with over 600 clients in her 18 months there. Next, she was awarded her BA in Astro-Psychology from Antioch University, and for the next six years taught undergraduate courses there on the Adjunct Faculty, basing each course on an astrology text by Dane Rudhyar, who was Nicki’s mentor, teacher and friend until his death in 1985. Nicki was hired by Jim Lewis as an Astro*Carto*Graphy Staff Astrologer where she produced over 400 taped and typed relocation analyses, and was the second person ever awarded a Professional Certification as an Astro*Carto*Graphy consultant. She was the top national sales person for the Digicomp’s DR-70, selling the first ever dedicated  computer for astrological calculations, pre-dating pc’s by years! Nicki completed the Classical Studies in Horary certification in 2000, and became a Certified Life Coach in 2001. She has presented at national conferences—AFA and UAC. Her sun sign column ran for several years in an upscale wine country magazine, and her popular Ask Astro-Coach column currently runs in The Mountain Astrologer, and can be found online at Nicki’s 80 page web site which she built herself in 2005. Nicki lives and works in San Francisco blending astrological insights with life coaching wisdom for her international clientele.
