Margie Herskovitz

Margie Herskovitz, CA-NCGR, CAP-ISAR, LMAFA, has been a practicing astrologer, lecturer, teacher, columnist for over 45 years, with special interest in Natal, Forecasting, Spiritual, Vocational, Relationship and Electional Astrology. Margie has served on the NCGR National Board for over 19 years, as Treasurer and Membership Director. In both positions, she made it a priority to maintain personal contact with as many members as possible. She is currently on the Advisory Board. Margie cofounded the Maryland Chapter of NCGR in 1982, and continues to serve as an officer, and is now their President. She is currently on the Steering Committee of AFAN and is co-chair of the Advisor's Committee. Her involvement in UAC since its origin has been an ongoing activity, as Margie served alternately as a track coordinator, a lecturer, Treasurer for UAC ’89, and roommate coordinator for UAC ’98 and 2002.

As an instructor, since 1960, Margie has introduced countless students to astrology as a legitimate field of study, based on her sound knowledge of basic techniques. Through newspaper stories and numerous radio and television appearances, she has exemplified astrologers as knowledgeable and competent professionals. Over the years, Margie has donated her astrological services for the benefit of many community and charitable events.

Ms. Herskovitz is a life member of NCGR, ISAR, AFAN, OPA, AFA, and the Theosophical Society. Her voluntary efforts continue to work on behalf of astrology.

Mentoring Skills:

Margie would be very glad to assist someone in the technique of marketing their consultations, and advising on business practices to maximize their efficiency and performance on the business end of their astrological practice. Basically, there can be a slow, steady incline for growth and development of a practice, and knowledge of business to accompany it.
