2002, in order to answer numerous requests for
a magazine that could be published on a more reliable schedule with a
variety of topics on levels from beginner to professional, it was
decided to publish a new magazine combining concepts from our previous
two publications (listed below). The new Geocosmic Journal
is projected to appear twice yearly. Edited originally by Kris Brandt Riske, former Publications Director, this publication returns to the earlier Journal
concept of a Guest Editor who gathers several articles on a featured
theme from recognized authorities in that topic. Each magazine also
contains a variety of other articles and features on other topics,
addressing varying levels of expertise.

Available back issues of this publication,
published from 1984 through Winter 2000-01,contain scholarly articles
on a variety of astrological topics. Most of the issues from 1984
through Winter 1992-93, all edited by Maria Kay Simms, had a Guest
Editor who was a recognized authority in a featured theme. Subsequent
issues through 1999, edited by Lorraine Welsh, contained challenging
astrological material on a variety of topics. NCGR Journals from 1989
contained précis in French, German and Spanish. The focus of
NCGR Journal was to explain in detail the methods and materials used in
geocosmic studies and its application in astrology. Individual back
issues, all with 100 or more pages of text, are $7 or $10, depending on

published alternately with NCGR Journal from 1991 through Autumn 2001,
were edited by Frances McEvoy. Prior to that time Geocosmic Magazine
had been published for several years on an irregular bases in
newsletter format. Geocosmic Magazines since 1996 have been notable as
collections of scholarly articles on a single theme so thoroughly
covered that the magazine can be considered as an anthology on the
topic. Most contained précis in French, German and Spanish.
