MADALYN HILLIS-DINEEN, current elected Chair, began her association with NCGR in 1979 as an officer of the Northern New Jersey chapter. In 1986, she expanded her involvement to a national level when she became editor of the NCGR memberletter, a position she held until 1994. From 1990-1994, Madalyn also served as NCGR's Executive Secretary and, as such, maintained its national headquarters, was involved in conference planning, public relations and created the first NCGR Directory of Professional Services. She comes to her current position after having served as NCGR Clerk. Madalyn has also served on NCGR's Publications and Education Committees. Winner of the 1995 UAC Regulus Award for Community Service, Madalyn was elected to two terms on the AFAN Steering Commitee. A noted Uranian astrologer and certified Astro*Carto*Graphy interpreter, Madalyn is also the Director of Marketing of Astrolabe, Inc. She is a contributor to the 1997 Llewellyn anthology, Astrology for Women: Roles and Relationships and is a feature writer for Stariq.com. Currently, Madalyn teaches a cyber-course on Using Solar Fire 5 through the Online College of Astrology. In addition, she does private consultations and specializes in Uranian astrology, Astro*Carto*Graphy, relationship issues and electional astrology. She is also an active member of Business and Professional Women/USA and is a past president of their Lower Cape Cod affiliate and is currently serving her second term as Assistant Director of the Cranberry District organization. She is also listed in Who's Who in America. |
